Guest guest
I keep forgetting to post this to the list . . . remember back last year when I embarked upon the process of pulling together information for a GFCF grocery guide? After about six months of calling, faxing and writing to manufacturers, we got very few responses. Most food manufacturers were unwilling to commit for publication purposes as to whether their selections were/were not GFCF. (A big raspberry to them, I say.) One of the resources I purchased for the research end of this project is a database of more than 10,000 food manufacturers. It contains addresses, phone numbers, and in some cases, toll-free numbers and email addresses. So if anyone ever needs specific information and can't find it on food packaging, please don't hesitate to drop me an email request, and I'll send you the contact information. (Otherwise, this reference book makes a great, expensive doorstop.) If you are in a hurry to contact a manufacturer, it's best to email me off-list because sometimes I get a couple of days behind on digest version. -BJ
Guest guest
Judy DeHart (editor GFCFdiet) may be interested in knowing you have this resource book. Also GFCFdiet.com has a booklet you can take with you to the grocery store that contains current GFCF food products. I believe it is available with the Parent Resource book and with the Getting Started Packet.
