tammy i would only do pedialite tonight but i would also hook her up to the

vent and leave her on it for about a 1/2 hour

Did you vent ? That might get rid of some of the extra air.

My guess, from what we are going through with Max, is that her stomach

is a bit distended from the stomach bug she just had. That would

create delayed emptying, extra air and the burping. Is she taking

reflux meds? A proton pump inhibitor? Check with her doctor, but

increasing these meds for the timebeing will help calm things down.

Just make sure she is hydrated and getting some form of

glucose/sugar/complex carbohydrate. You may need that glucose gel,

too.

Yes, I did vent her. She takes 15mg of Prevacid 1/2 morning & 1/2 night. She

seems okay right now. went to get her a suppository. Other than that I

don't know what else to do. I'm going to try to vent her again. Do you think I

should put her on the pump with pedialyte tonight? How is Max?

Yes, I did vent her. I'm going to vent her again in a little bit. She seems

fine right now. She was fine this morning and started this again at 4:30 this

afternoon.
