Guest guest
forgive me for being late on this, but I've been thinking and this has got to indicate that her toes are pressing too much on the sole, and likely moving about in the shoe. Seems as if her heel may be rising causing this. Have you cut a small hole in the heels to see if her heel is down fully? Do you have any pictures of her feet, in her brace, and out? I'm concerned about her correction initially, and also being out of any brace for 2w. That's way too long to be either unbraced or uncasted. You can almost bet she will loose some correction during this time. And as such, no brace will be able to correct that. The brace only works on fully corrected feet. Any loss of correction will make the brace not only uncomfortable, but her chances of sores will be much greater. Even in the PM's. Please tell me she's in casts while she waits for her new shoes? Anything else you can tell us or show us will help us tremendously to assist you in troubleshooting this. Pictures of feet, casts, braces, whatever you've got. You can send them to me privately or join the CFPics yahoo group where you can share pictures in attachments with other parents. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/CFPics/ Kori At 05:37 PM 6/23/2006, you wrote: > > > > > > >Hi, >Her blister was actually underneath her big toe.
