i think someone used those Mr Clean magic erase pads before. Sometimes I just

clean ours using an old tooth brush with a mild soap. why would they be

molding? I've noticed the rubber does turn an icky color after a lot of wear,

not sure why but it's never washed off any of ours. they look gross even when I

know they are clean, luckily the foot covers that area so people don't see it.

cleaning braces

Does anyone have a suggestion on cleaning the yellow rubber of the

shoes/brace? I don't want to try anything without asking

first, I am afraid of ruining the rubber. It appears mold is starting

to grow (yuck!).

I don't really know if it is mold: it is a rust color, near the

bends of the rubber. I assumed it was sweat accumulating, which

could lead to mildew.... i could be way off base.

So, when you cleaned the rubber, the rust color never came off? i

will try the toothbrush and dish soap or vinegar solution. is

almost ready for another pair.

Thanks!

Correct. Even after scrubbing the stains remained on the shoes. Doesn't hurt

to give them a bit of a cleaning periodically but don't expect the shoe to look

new afterwards.
