Guest guest
i think someone used those Mr Clean magic erase pads before. Sometimes I just clean ours using an old tooth brush with a mild soap. why would they be molding? I've noticed the rubber does turn an icky color after a lot of wear, not sure why but it's never washed off any of ours. they look gross even when I know they are clean, luckily the foot covers that area so people don't see it. s. cleaning braces Does anyone have a suggestion on cleaning the yellow rubber of the shoes/brace? I don't want to try anything without asking first, I am afraid of ruining the rubber. It appears mold is starting to grow (yuck!). Guest guest
I don't really know if it is mold: it is a rust color, near the bends of the rubber. I assumed it was sweat accumulating, which could lead to mildew.... i could be way off base. So, when you cleaned the rubber, the rust color never came off? i will try the toothbrush and dish soap or vinegar solution. is almost ready for another pair. Thanks! > > i think someone used those Mr Clean magic erase pads before. Sometimes I just clean ours using an old tooth brush with a mild soap. why would they be molding? Guest guest
Correct. Even after scrubbing the stains remained on the shoes. Doesn't hurt to give them a bit of a cleaning periodically but don't expect the shoe to look new afterwards. s. cleaning braces > > > Does anyone have a suggestion on cleaning the yellow rubber of the > shoes/brace?
