Tammy,

It is times like these when people try to make you feel better by

the ol' proverbial sayings... " time heals all wounds, that which does

not kill us... " however, all I can say is my heart aches for you and

I am truly sorry for your loss. How can we all here possibly convey

just how deep our sympathies run? There are no words. However, you

can't just post a blank posting, that would look kind of funny:)

Just take comfort in knowing you are in our thoughts.

Tammy,

I have not read the e-mails for 2 days and just now have time to read and

write. I am so sorry for the sudden loss of JW, I know that your arms and

going to ache for him. And I am so sorry that you and the Dr's couldn't do

anything more. Please know that my family will have you and your family in

our hearts.

Tammy, I too want to express my deepest sympathies to you and your

family. I can't say that I know exactly what you are feeling however, I

just recently lost my cousin to CF. I know the overwhelming grief my

Aunt is dealing with. She mentioned a book to me that she is reading

and getting some comfort from so I thought I would pass it on to you...

The title is

A Broken Heart Still Beats by Anne McCracken and Semel. I believe

it is a collection of short stories/essays. I hope you are able to find

some peace. We are all here for you!

Take care,

I would do a mixture of half Pedialyte and half of whatever formula

you use. You don't want her to go without the benefits of the formula

for too long. The Pedialyte can actually backfire if her sugars go

down.

If the half strength mix is too much, then go 75/25. Gradually build

it back up over the next couple of days. Don't rush things or it will

make matters worse.

Tammy,

is ok. He's in middle school this year, but is adjusting.

He's having oral surgery on Tuesday, and will have to stay in the

hospital overnight. He's a little nervous about that, as it already

got postponed once.

Kim,

What type of oral surgery is he having? Keep me posted as to how he does. I'll

be praying for him.

Tammy,

he is having some permanent teeth removed, some impacted teeth uncovered, and a

gingivectomy (removal of some gum tissue). Thanks for your kind thoughts.
