It's not that you've done anything wrong. I would say that it is a good thing he is still in the brace 14hrs. and you are being a good mama keeping on top of things. My son was also still in the brace 14 hrs.+ at 15 months. We didn't reduce to 12 hrs. until about 18 mos. and even after that, still had days that he stayed in it 14 hrs.
