IAN Update - Back in Hospital

Home for a quick shower. Rushed back to ER yesterday. Ian's blood

sugars dropped again - not as low - this time had paramedics meet me

at home - they dropped to 63 at hospital - but, he's been stable.

He also vomited again and the diahrea has started up again.

On the phone right now with Dr. H's Patient Coordinator. We are

still planning on going to see Dr. H. We may just end up getting

there during the night - but, the hospital will not let us leave

(neither will I) if he's not able to travel. But.....we are keeping

the appointment - I think this is a good time to see Dr. H - while

he's sick so we can develop a plan and she can see what's going on

with him.

Anyway, my dh is at the hospital with Ian and right now -

so, better go - I'm here to shower, pack our bags for the trip and

then head back to the hospital - ready to go. Met with the diabetes

coorindator and bought 1 glucose monitor and she gave me an extra

for free. Also talked to a nutritionist to give us ideas since he's

not eating.

Yes - I know - we will be very careful and I will be checking his

blood sugars CONSTANTLY (per the diabetes educator) while

traveling. I'm not worried. As I told Yadira - if we have to be

admitted at Mt. Sanai - so be it.

Miss you guys. I'm exhausted. Gotta go.

Love, H

I'm so sorry your going through this rough time do know you and your family

are in my thoughts and prayers and call me if you need anything even if it's

just to vent or cry.

when you leave to see Dr. H just be sure to pack and expect to stay I know

her all too well and I would bet my last dollar she will admitt him. Hey never

know I may see you there LOL.
