Guest guest
Hi All, As of 12/5, I've been switched. Still almost surreal, but if I'm close to pain pill time, I snap back to reality (grin). For me, I don't remember a lot of the first few days, but after that I had a low grade fever followed by the discovery of a few minor complications (after a CT scan). I had a partially collapsed lung, an inflammation at the pancreas/duodenal area, and then the next day, my belly button incision got a bit angry and had to be lanced (still oozing). Other than that, my experience was pretty typical. Now, I just am getting used to drinking, eating little bits, and trying to rest and not overdue it. Now that I'm home (I was in for 8 days), I feel like I " should " be doing this or that...not like I can bend over to do too many chores or anything, just a feeling that I should be productive. Odd, never felt that before (haha). Tired, but happy to be switched! Cheers, Amy Dr. Jossart 12/5/
