Hello everyone.

I read a few as I was deleting. Looks like everyone is going through

surgery ok. That is fabulous.

I did catch a thread on dry feet. I use a Swedish file frequently and use

a lotion that has UREA in it. It really locks the moisture in with out the

greasy stuff on sheets and socks. Carmol 20 is one of them. I had to get

mine behind the pharmacist counter. Helps a whole lot. If I was just a

little more diligent I am sure I wouldn't have any calluses.

Hope that helps.

Anyway I have missed you all.

i

PS my PCP is trying to contact a few surgeons to write the initial request

for DS correctly to give me the best chance of getting it.

I got that one post on what was used for arguments. NSAIDS being difficult

to take with RNY, Anxiety issues increasing due to the dumping syndrome and

one other thing. Any others???? I need to pass these on to my doc.

Thanks

I just saw my dermatologist for help with the cracked heels, among other

things. He prescribed a particular cream, but you know what he said works

sooo well when your heel cracks? SUPERGLUE!! He said that it doesn't just

close the crack, but actually promotes healing!

ROTFL!!!

I never thought about superglue for heel cracks.. but yep, knew it was

used by guitarists whose callusses rip off during a set. Makes sense

when I think about it, yanno?

I remember hearing about this superglue thing when I was playing the

guitar, and let me tell you, it hurt like hell! Instead, I got the

finger protector that you get in bowling alleys...it acts similar to

superglue but doesn't have all the same chemicals. Damn its been

twenty years and I forgot all about that!

My manicurist used to use crazy glue when I had a

paper cut because when she put the chemicals on my

skin, it would burn like hell. I wonder, though, does

the crazy glue wear off eventually? And can you use a

buffer-thing on your heals after using the glue?

Thanks,

dee
