Hello I am Amber my son Grayson has had two ph probes done. The numbers that you

see are his ph of stomach acid, anything above 4 is normal and anything below is

abnormal but the test is based on how many times it drops below 4 and how long

it stays below four . It will drop below when you drink something but only if it

stays does it matter. My son had one of the worst cases our docter had ever

seen. Amber Mother to Austin 7,and Grayson 2 RSS.

watch the numbers during Autumns

ph probe study. Then were average of 7 ranging from upper 6 to mid 8

but usually 7 during normal times then in the 3's when eating and

drinking. Does this mean anythign to anyone?

Thanks. The gi nurse called and spoke to my husband last week and he

told me that she said that Autumn refluxes but in the normal range.

Then I called them back yesterday and she said that no, she said that

she reluxes abnormally but like others (I am confused) but no severe

episodes so I have to wait to hear from another doc, her surgeon, to

figure out exactly what is going on and he is gone until next week.

I think that her numbers didn't stay under 4 for too long but I will

not know more until next week. Thanks for the answer!
