I had horrible feet before wls. Now my feet are fine! It is amazing. I was in

so much pain every day before that it is wonderful to be pain free now. I would

get cortisone injections before going on vacation (such as disney world) before

just to make it through each day. I took tons of ibuprofen too. Now I never

take ibuprofen for foot pain.

Hi Anita- I use orthotics made by my podiatrist. They are wonderful. Losing

weight did not help my foot problems but orthodics do. Have them made rather

than buy in store because every foot is different and when they are made they

are made for your specific foot problem.. Ellen(Pam

That's fantastic and it sounds like your feet felt way worse than

mine do, so I would think mine should improve as well! Thanks for the

update!

foot pain and joint pain went away before I went

back to work, within 6-8 weeks after surgery,

actually it seemed immediate, but must have been

in that first month
