Guest guest
, How great! How has your journey been together thru this? Mike had his 2 days after I had mine so we literally took this journey from " get go " together! We did have help from a good friend who lived in town (met her on the internet) and becuz of that Dr Welker was willing to do us both two days apart...... Guest guest
Judie, It really has worked out well that I went first and Chuck had an opportunity to see what was headed his way, he had an easier recovery than I did, but we think that was partly because he knew what to expect. We could not be happier that we made this decision. It is so much fun to watch the weight come off of Chuck- it is like reliving the first few months of rapid weight loss for myself! Life has changed drastically for both of us since having the surgery and we both feel it has brought us closer and enhanced our relationship. Sincerely, leslie & chuck > , > How great! Guest guest
I agree, , that it has allowed us to become even closer as a result of the surgery. At last our being fat days are all over......what a miracle! Mike had the lap and I had the open.....mine was very uncomplicated due to other surgeries I had in the same spot so my recovery was very swift and Mike having the lap made it easier for him to help me if need be. Now, being a year out, things are very different for us....its been fun too, buying new skinny clothes!! The crowning jewel is when people we have not seen for awhile see us in town or at the store and they are not quite sure if they know us or not LOL Hugs, Judie
