Joe Frost, food addict here. I went to the surgeon's office this morning and he examined the incision. He pulled what looked like 4 pounds of dead fat out of the incision. It was probably 1/3 of a pound, however. It just looks like more when it's coming out of you. Dr. Welker had called me last night about 11:00 and told me to get on Cipro immediately. Dr. here in San said that was exactly the right thing to have done. Things were indeed better than yesterday. He said I might have some infection but it wasn't currently all that bad and should heal properly if I would continue on the Cipro and swab it out with a Q-tip with Peroxide on it. I don't look forward to doing that but I will. So I am home and well - for the time being. I have another appointment on Friday but unless things get lots worse everything seems under control. Thanks for your prayers and good wishes. Regards.
