Guest guest
Hello, everybody! Well, now my own doctor is of the opinion that " If you know the answer, do you really need to ask the question? " (God knows I question everything already), but she is like, " If eating that makes you sick, don't eat that. " She would like me to start taking out foods for a week or two at a time and seeing what happens. So, I already know G & C will probably have to go for me. I have also been VERY obsessive lately, and fighting my compulsions (which includes self-injurious behavior--thus, a frantic call to my doctor today before things get out of hand this time). My doctor put me on a trial of Remeron (anyone know if this is GFCF?). She thinks I need a balance of meds to help with depression, insomnia, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive/injurious behaviors, etc., and I am now being referred to a psychiatrist (AGAIN!). I have been on Zoloft & Prozac (SSRIs), Depakote & Klonipin (anti-convulsants), and Midrin (combo drug--pain killer, muscle relaxant, and mild tranquilizer). I also seem to be having reactions to Ortho-TriCyclen, but it says it can take up to three months for a body to adjust. GFCF? I know it usually takes a while for gluten to clear the body, yet I can eat GF food for a few days, eat just a slight amount the next day, and I get REALLY physically ill. If I eat GF food all the time, I don't notice it as much. Is this strange? Also, I am supposed to be watching sugar intake. I tolerate honey and maple syrup and such, so I am looking for recipes (candy for Christmas, too?) that I can make with those. Any help out there?
