Guest guest
I have seen both hanger and starband parents complain about cheekbones. Orthos don't seem to take the complaint too seriously, but to me the cheekbones shouldn't be the holding points. My daughter had a starband and the sideburns helped keep the band from slipping, but weren't putting pressure on her face as far as I could ever tell. I would push your ortho to take some pressure off this area. Hopefully some parents who experienced this will respond too and let you know if this resolved over time. -christine sydney, 4 yrs, starband grad > > I have 8 month old twins and they've both been in Hanger bands for 2 months now. We are very pleased with their progress, but I was wondering if anyone has had issues with Hanger bands pushing too hard on the cheeks and changing the symmetry of the cheekbones. > > Thanks, > > >
