Theresa,

I will be praying for you. I thought I had a terrible time after surgery,

but I had nothing like what you have. I hope this procedure does the trick

for you and you will feel wonderful for the Holidays.

Oh Theresa!

Im so sorry you have to go thru all of this but look on the bright

side....once the endoscopy is done your green gills will be GONE!!! Just in

time for christmas foods too......

I will keep you in my prayers as usual .....you dont have to worry about

anybody not praying for you ( I beat down the door upstairs LOL) so you go

in there with peace of mind that within hours after your procedure you will

be as good as new once again!

Many hugs!!

I was coping fairly well with feeling green all the time, but once it

progressed beyond the green stage, that kind of tried my patience. I

have been sick since about 6 p.m. last night and have no idea how you

can still be getting sick to your stomach when there is nothing left!

I finally called my surgeon this morning and he didn't seem surprised

at all. He said that because of the tissues shredding at the duodenal

anastimoses he was prepared for that opening to heal very small which

would cause nothing to go down, ergo...barf a rama! He was going to

wait until after Christmas....I cried, so he has scheduled an

appointment with a gastroenterologist for me, hopefully for tomorrow

morning. He said I have to spend the night in the

hospital...sighs...I'm so bloody sick of hospitals...and she, the GE

will do an endoscopy to stretch that opening. I am nervous, because I

know that there is a slight possibility that she could perforate the

opening...but, I also hear that this is fairly routine for those guys

who have RNYs. I do like that the GE doc called me personally and

sounds wonderful and was very reassuring. She also gave me her

private cell phone number which was just fantastic! (I really must

sound pitiful!)

So, I am back in the hospital for two days either Thursday or Friday

where they will pump massive amounts of fluids in me...there goes the

32 pound weight loss! laughing and I am hoping this will do the

job. Prayers are welcome...as are any good thoughts you can send my

way!

Hugs,

Theresa

Theresa Marie! You've gone and done it again, huh? Can't stay away

from those hospital folks. I thought that Nick and Ford and I had

you well taken care of, but your appetites are insatiable. Even the

three of us couldn't satisfy. And, what about new hubby? That'd

make four!!!

Seriously, kiddo, you're going through sheer misery, and I wish you

clear sailing, no perforations, and happy eating forever after.

Luv,

Steve

Theresa:

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. This totally sucks that you

have to be in the hospital again, especially right before Christmas.

I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon, I'll be praying for you!

You have my complete sympathy. I went through the green gill stage

for a couple of months. It really does get better! It just happens

occasionally now.

Good luck. I know it probably stinks being in the hospital so close

to Xmas, but it sounds as if everything is going to go well. I will

be sending good thoughts your way.

hI- mY FRIEND HAD THE RNY AND NEEDED TO HAVE THE ENDOSCOPY TWICE to strtch

the opening. He called it clogging and was really sick. Two times and the

Dr. said he would be okay and he is. I am glad you pushed to have this done

quickly because he was so sick and why be sick when this can be done to help

you. Good luck. Ellen(Pam
