Congratulations!!!!! How exciting for all of you, especially Eli.

I can't wait until we get the same report for (DBB 23/7).

All in due time, I guess...

Congrats again!

I don't want to rain on any parades but be sure his " night " wear is at

least 12 to 14 hours minimum. His feet look terrific because the FAB is

working! Don't give up on it now - relapses can and will occure with too little

use at this young of age.

Congratulations though, wishing you all the best.

Oh Happy Day!!!

We just got back from taking Eli to get his feet checked (regular

visit). D. sy (ATL) said they look GREAT. We told him that we've

been leaving the bar off when he's crawling around, and that he really

only wears it during naps, walks (stroller), and nighttime. The doc

said only put it on at night, because the feet look that good....very

corrected. (he's 11 months and has been in casts/bar since 10 days old.)

We are soooooooo happy about this!!! This is what we've been praying

for since we found out about his feet way back before he was born!!

I posted a picture of Eli taking his first nap without the bar on his

website (www.ele5.blogspot.com)....look at those normal feet!!!

Thanks, ee. I assure you my husband and I are very conservative with the

bar. Up until 2 weeks ago (10.5 months) we were still leaving it on all but

about 5 hours each day. (Even though his doc said he coudl have it off for 10

hours.) And now, i'll still leave it on if he's going into the car or the

stroller when he wakes up, and he'll still have it on for half of his naps. It's

12 hours at night, plus whatever extra I do. Thanks for the word of caution!!
