Guest guest
Hi Judie - Thanks for asking -- I'm, like so often, mega-behind on e-mail. Jeannie has a long road ahead of her. Will probably be on the ventilator a couple more weeks and probably won't be able to go back to work for a few months -- but looks like she will be okay and I just look forward to the day she can look back and say it was all worth it -- like a lot of the folks who were unfortunate to have had complications. Have a great holiday season. Love, Kris Re: Kris G | Kris, | Any word on Jeannie and how shes doing now? | | Hugs, Judie | | | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
Guest guest
Kris, Is Jeannies family with her? What caused the lungs to have this problem? I have added her to our family prayer list group here where I live......shes in good hands and they will all pray for her until word comes that shes out of the woods. Our pastors wife had her DS with Dr Welker on Oct 30th so shes well aware of these things. Hugs, Judie

Guest guest
Judie - Jeannie's family is with her off and on -- they're from Southern Oregon and the Bay Area -- but there are also friends who have gone to Eugene to be with her. I'm sure it would be great if you or anyone would like to send her a card of encouragement. If anyone would like to, let me know and I'll give you the mailing address. I believe her lung problem is one which occurred from the affects of sleep apnea after the renal failure. As I understand it, her lungs became dependent on the ventilator so they didn't have to do the work, and it will take awhile to wean off the ventilator. But, I also believe her prognosis is mucho better than when she was in renal failure. So, thinking positive that there's a bright light at the end of the tunnel, and it isn't a train. Thanks, Judie.
