Guest guest
Dear Group, I am the office manager for D. King, M.D., and have been for over 20 years. I am writing to let you know that I have no ulterior motives. I was looking for a support group that I could send to parents to. Most of you seem very well educated on this issue. I did see a couple of things today that did seem a little bothersome. It is surprising what is said . I only want to clear up only one thing. In 8 years of doing the Ponseti method, thee only difference in Dr. King's treatment and Dr. Ponseti's,was that we felt they should stay in the bar and shoes longer. After all these years and the hundreds of tenotomies we have no relapses. Now since then Dr. Ponseti has changed and he now recommends longer wear. Until yesterday we didn't know of the approved list. Most parents had called Dr. Ponseti and that was how we thought we were recommended. Unless you have any objections I will use your club as a place to send my parents who are looking for a support group. Sincerely,
Guest guest
Hello , I am glad to hear that you will be recommending this support group to Dr. King's new patients. That is how I heard about it, thru a recommendation from Dr. Pirani, my daughter Gracies treating Ortho and it was so very helpful to me especially when Grace was first born (her unilateral right club foot was undiagnosed) and during the first part of her brace wear. There are some wonderful, knowledgable and supportive parents here! I do also want to say that I think that it is very important that parents can come here and express themselves freely. This includes talking about the treatment that their child recieved and whether *they* felt that that the treatment was good OR bad. Whether *they* felt that the doctor was following Dr. Ponseti's protocols or not etc. & Grace 2 yrs urcf FAB 12hrs > > Dear Group, > I am the office manager for D. I certainly would not want to cause any member to leave your group. I will still offer your group site to other mother's. Please remove me from the group. I again apologize for any unrest that I may have caused. Sincerely,
