Guest guest
My GYN told me this could be a form of hysterectomy. He suggested it to me as an alternative a couple of years ago. They insert the balloon and (after the patient is put under) fill it with EXTREMELY hot water. They let it cool off, deflate the balloon, and remove it. It leaves scar tissue to the uterus which is supposed to mimic a hysterectomy. (When he told me about this I just shuddered - have got to think it was invented by the Marquis de Sade.) I do know people who've had the procedure who say it's relatively pain free and they're back at work in a day or two.
