PAIN IN LEGS AFTER DS SURGERY

I ve been trying to walk everyday. I get lots of pain, like pins

being stuck into my thighs. Spoke to Dr again, he says that it was

caused from being on the OR table for a long time.

I have no problems since DS surgery except for legs.

Hey brother ,

Have you asked if there is any meds he can give you short term until

those pins disappear? I am still getting the hip cramping regularly,

but each day its a little better. Someone mentioned a drug called

Nerontin..something like that, that works for temporary

neuropathys...or pins and needles, etc! Weight loss is looking great

hon!

Hi ,

What you described is common to a lot of post-ops. Some have that pins and

needles feelings in other places. Mine was my butt. LOL It does get

better slowly and eventually goes away.

BTW were you in Dr. M's Brooklyn office last Thurs.? If so my husband and I

were talking to you just before you were called in.

Mike, my DH was postponed, seems the doctor who Dr. M wanted assisting on

Mikes operation was called away this week. We have to reschedule. Mike has

a lot of medical problems. What a bummer.
