Guest guest
Elijah has had his helmet for 5 months now--so it's not new! but yesterday I noticed that his forhead has a peely dry spot about the size of a quarter. I looked closer today and found that he has similar skin on the whole back of his head. It's doesn't look red and itchy, just kind of like the dry, peeling off skin after a sunburn (without any redness). It's not moist and doesn't look irritated. Any ideas? Guest guest
My daughter's head was also dry. I stopped washing it daily, and instead just rinsed it some days. Also I made sure I used very mild shampoo. She still gets dry easily so I don't shampoo every day, and I sometimes put oil on for a few minutes before washing her head. If you try the oil just make sure you wash it off well so as not to irritate the skin under the band. -christine sydney, 3.5 yrs, starband grad > > Elijah has had his helmet for 5 months now--so it's not new! but yesterday I noticed that his forhead has a peely dry spot about the size of a quarter. Guest guest
I'll try that--just water. I used a soft brush this morning and it was like a snowstorm, yuck! thanks! betsy My daughter's head was also dry. I stopped washing it daily, and instead just rinsed it some days.
