Re: Pregnancy similarities

For me it took three years to conceive. No one mentioned anything about any

conditions, while I was pregnant. Every ultrasound went great they all said I

was having a healthy baby boy. I went to full term; although I had an kidney

infection at four months and had to be hospitalized. I also gained a lot of

weight alittle over seventy pounds and my O.B. thought I might become toxic so I

was back and forth getting glucose tests. I never became toxic. My water broke

and had to be induced, was only in labor for five hours. This was my first and

has been my only pregnancy so far. Also I didn't use any fertility drugs. I had

some contractions only braxton-hicks though nothing serious.

Hey all. I have noticed that there have been some similarities in our

stories while pregnant. I didn't take the Clomid, but it did take me 8

months to get pregnant. I have noticed a few talking about early

contractions. I had to be hospitalized at 28 weeks for contractions.

But, I have a fibroid on my uterus and they said that it was irritating

my uterus and caused the contractions. But, I wonder??? Anyone else

have early contractions? While I was in they gave me two shots of

steroids to help 's lungs develop.

Also, stopped growing at 32 weeks and I was induced and had

right at 34 weeks.

I know I have read others talking about the baby being misdiagnosed

with Trismoy 18. The specialist thought would have this.

I went into early labor at 28 weeks, had 2 shots of steroids for his lungs..

He was born at 33 weeks with the cord around his neck.

I forgot we tried for 6 years to have him..In that time I had 3 miscarriages

..

Also he stopped growing at 30 weeks....And he STOPPED, didn't just slow down he

went from the 49% to the 1% in 2 weeks.. They were doing sonograms every two

weeks on me starting at 30 weeks ( but I had one at 28 because of the pre term

labor) because Jed was IUGR at slowed down his growth at 30 weeks....

I also took the two steroid shots for the twins lungs. didn't

grow at all from 31 to 33 weeks (per the sonagram) and then they

induced.
