We had are visit this morning. Went very well, love the place. We

finally got x-rays of his feet, then they took pictures of him and

his feet, then we waited in the lobby for a room, went back saw a

intern, then awhile we saw the Dr. said his feet not all the way

corrected. He looked at his Dennis-Brown Bar said the shoes are

turn to much in and the bar isn't far enough apart, so no wonder why

they never worked when he wore them. Then he said to get his feet

molded for his new braces and he would put one more cast on him

should be enough. Then after that we had to wait to put his cast

on. The doctor and his nurse are wonderful. was asleep when

they came in to cast, I put him on the table he woked up then they

started to cast he wined alittle but fell asleep during the casting

period, never before has that happen. He usually screams during the

casting were he usually got his cast. It was amazing, this whole

trip has been good. We come home in the morning.

I recommend Dr. Dobbs and his staff and the Shriner's hospital here

in St. Louis to other clubfeet patient.

Larissa,

I am just soooo happy for you and !!!!!!!!!!! See, you knew it

the whole time! His feet weren't fully corrected and the bar wasn't

set up right.

Once his feet are fully corrected and his brace is set up correctly,

it is gonna be so much easier for you Larissa, a non-issue really.

We were also casted by a different doctor (a tech actually) for

Grace's first cast and after finding our Ponseti doctor, the

difference was amazing. Glad that he was comfortable throughout the

casting, must have been if he was sleeping lol. You must be so

happy/relieved!

Great to hear that he will be getting the PM's and did they say how

many casts he needed, was it just the one?

Super happy for you and and so glad that you decided to make

the trip!

Smiles,

He says one cast might be all he needs. We come back in two weeks to find out.
