Guest guest
Sheri, I thought the very same things! My surgery was May 2, and I thought I would never be the same. I couldn't imagine why I had done this to my body. But, honestly, it does pass. I fought nausea approximately the first 7-8 weeks. Then, one day it just went away. I feel wonderful now. And...I do eat whatever I want. I've lost 83 lbs so far. I'd like to lose about 60 more, but I'm looking at it like this...I feel so good, anything else is just icing on the cake. I was discouraged because I thought everyone else was recovering faster than me too. But, don't beat yourself up. You will feel better soon. I promise. Try to stay encouraged! Email me if you want me phone number. I'd love to talk. Thanks, Diane/TN 326 lbs. bmi 51 11/19/01 - 243 lbs. bmi 38 > I am hoping to eventually get to the place so many post-ops have gotten to > with their eating.
