Guest guest
Just thought we could all use some good news since we've been reading about our little sick ones... Max got a job today! He applied to a couple of places and was called into Drug Fair this morning for an interview. He now has a job 3 afternoons and one full day starting this Wednesday. He'll be stocking shelves, running the register, etc. He is so excited. We are, too, but I just had to spend $250 to get him the clothes he needs for their dress code! I guess you have to spend money to make money. Oh, I never thought that Max would be at this point in the maturity line - at least not by this age. He's grown so much in so many ways over the past 6 months. I just ordered a digital camera, so when it arrives, I'll have to post pictures of him. Right now Max is upstairs trying to decide what he is going to buy himself. He's agreed to put 50% into savings with the rest going towards spending money. Sounds good to me. I may have to take a loan from him! Jodi Z
Guest guest
That is wonderful. I am so happy for Max. He must feel so proud of himself for doing it on his own as well. Guest guest
Thanks, . He just came home from his first night at his new job and really liked it. His feet hurt, though. I told him that he'll just have to get used to it. Everyone's feet hurt the first few weeks. Now I have to convince Max that a green t-shirt under a white shirt and tie just doesn't work. Guest guest
LOL!!! I'm glad he had a good first night. Where is the Drug Fair? The Cost Cutters in hickory tree didn't change into a Drug Fair did it? Tell Max to use peppermint lotion on his feet. When I worked a part time job at a bridal shop after working all day and standing all night I would rub peppermint lotion onto my feet and calves and throw socks on. It would feel so soothing.
