Guest guest
Joyce, It is true about Nordstrom's. Some other shoe stores will work with you but you definitely have to talk to the store manager. I may be crazy but I could swear that I've seen Dora shoes at Target in a wide. Oh, and on the sizing, I would just go by the fit, not by the numbers on the shoesizer thingy. Hope this helps! Guest guest
My son wears two different size shoes and Nordstrom's is the only place that I have found that will sell you a mixed set. Mrs Nordstrom had two different size feet so that policy will be in effect FOREVER. Stride Rite will sell you a pair and a half (and give you 3 shoes). But, Nordstrom has Stride Rite's even cheaper than Stride Rite. Try it. It has been the best choice for us for almost 3 years! We are a big enough city that we should have that. We went all over yesterday, plus she is also a size wide. I have one more place to try later today. I think anytime we go back to Iowa I will plan on shoe shopping for this reason. I just want to be able to find her a cute pair of light up shoes that fit well in her size. Guest guest
Try Kmart for Dora shoes if there is one near you. I have had good luck with shoes there for Kelsey because they sell half sizes and have many shoes in wide width although I am not certain about Dora ones but it is certainly worth a try. Also, www.preschoolians.com, has softer shoes not the regular light up kind but in the past they have sold me a pair that included two different sizes and they did so with no additional charge. I just had to order them over the phone so I could be specific with my order. Hope that helps some. Guest guest
Thanks for the advice Kassia. I might just try that next time we are in Iowa and we go to the Stride Rite store. Joyce > > Jake, for the longest time, was in two sizes of shoes too. I buy his shoes at Stride Rite, but they won't split pairs. What I did was choose a style they weren't likely to retire for awhile. The first time I bought him shoes I did buy two pairs to fit both his feet, and then after that I just bought pairs for the larger foot...and saved the other shoe until his other foot caught up in size. It worked pretty well for us since it was 2 years before they decided to retire that particular style. > > I have heard of several stores & internet sites which will send two different sizes but unfortunately I can't remember the names. Guest guest
Nordstroms will let you buy two different sizes of shoes for the price of one, and they carry most popular baby/children's brands. childrenloveall wrote: Thanks for the advice Kassia.
