Have you tried applying for something called a Medicaid Waiver??? It is my

understanding that those that don't qualify for Medicaid, due to income, can

qualify for this?? If Alison is reading, maybe she can help you out with

more information on this.

I've been there and done that, and I don't envy you in the least! When we're

behind on medical bills, I send the Dr/hospital $10 a month. I was told that

as long as I send them something, and they accept the payment, they can't

send my account to collection. Hope this helps.
