Does anyone know any thing about Dr. Hatch in Greely Colorado? He is

on Dr. Ponseti's list of trained Dr's. What kind of Questions should

I ask to find out if he follows the Ponseti method exactly as it

should be followed?

I don't know anything about Dr. Hatch, but there's a list of questions

& answers at http://members.tripod.com/ponseti_links-ivil/id13.html

that is helpful when you are searching for Ponseti trained doctors.

Click on the " Checklist for Parents " when you go to this site. There's

lots of other helpful info there, too. I was thrilled to get your

e-mail and I will respond to it tomorrow when I have more time. I

definately would like to stay in touch as well. I'm so excited for you

all!

I think your situation is a bit unique in that your child will be

older, so the questions that you'll mainly want to ask initially is

what Dr. Hatch's experience has been in treating older children non-

surgically. Find out how many he's treated, what the ages were when

they started treatment (and how old they are today), and the

outcomes.

You can print off the Global HELP booklet and bring that with you to

find out what/if any deviations the doctor makes to the standard

protocol.

There is a list of basic question ideas at this site:

http://members.tripod.com/ponseti_links-ivil under the parents'

checklist section.

Best wishes!
