Guest guest
, I just wanted to dip in here and tell you congratulations for seeking out that kind of care for Dasia. That is so awesome that you are able to get that for her. What a relief and burden off your mind. Is this something that is permanent or is it as the funds are available? gets something like this here in Ohio. It is called Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps, BCMH for short. And, he gets it as long as there is funding for this program. We almost lost it last year because they weren't going to put the funds into this program, but enough parents complained and called, so it is once again alive for another year! Let's hope it continues. It really is a BIG help. They even pay for some of the medications is on. Like you said though, it has to be tied into his diagnosis. We have been very fortunate to have BCMH and I think you will be happy you find out about the similar program, too. , you should be happy! This is really great! Guest guest
Hi Jodi, Yeah, they didn't say anything about how secure the program is. That's a good question, I'll definitely ask. I would have thought, anything with childrens health needs, should be higher on the priority list if there's state funding for anything. That's interesting about Ohio! I hope they keep it around for your sake! It makes me wonder how many states even have this kind of program. You could move one state over to Indiana if they ever did put a stop to that funding!
