Hi Kathy,

A couple ideas??? I've never tried this so I'm not even sure it will work,

but maybe?? Is there any drink (kool-aid, soda, or juice) that Willie will

accept that the Prevacid Solutabs might be dissolved in??? OR maybe you

could dissolve it in water, and then add it to something he'll drink??? Only

don't give it to him in a cup, suck it up in a syringe, so that you'll know

he's finished it all.

You could try taking a tablet, putting it in the bottom of say a 10cc

syringe, sucking up maybe 5cc of liquid, and see if the tablet will

dissolve?? If it does, have him " drink " out of the syringe, and then chase

with the same thing from a cup?? That way if it changes the taste slightly,

he might not realize it???

How much did Willie weigh at the convention last year?? Could his Periactin

need to be increased??? We've never been able to use it with , but

I've heard that sometimes the smallest of increases can make a big

difference???

I'm sure that Dr H will recommend the g-tube if she really thinks that

Willie needs it. She didn't hesitate with .

Can I ask where you learned to figure out BMI?? has REALLY slimmed

down this year, and is way low on the weight-for-height chart now, but I've

never learned how to figure out BMI. Is this more accurate than

weight-for-height??

Hope this helps!

-kyla takes prevacid solutabs.....this is how i do it...the medicine

dropper i have, the end comes off of it, i drop the tablet in it with

a little bit of tea, shake it put the measuring part on it, and she

takes it, for her she fights to take her meds, so tea flavored

medicine is great, it works, and the doctor said that it was fine as

long as she gets the medicine she needs, i would definately try it, i

am sure its better if willie takes water to do it that way, but she

don't like water so i use tea.........good luck, stephanie kyla 4 RSS-
