Guest guest
I had a similar problem a few years ago. They ended up being very gracious to me. I wish I could remember more details! Have you tried both talking to them directly and perhaps through your homecare provider? Guest guest
Inga, Because we purchased the pump we speak with them directly. The rep I spoke with was polite, but offered no solution to me not being able to afford to get our pump fixed!! I am really at a loss of what to do. Our DME, Apria, brought us out a Kangaroo Pet Pump to use temporarily but it is just so awful and restricting, and it's only on loan. Guest guest
Dayna, We also have the Zevex Enteralite pump, but our homecare company services it for us. Our insurance company has paid for it, so technically it is ours, but if it ever needs fixed, my homecare company takes care of it. I am under the impression that you bought yours outright from Zevex??? Hopefully you can get some help on this. I can't believe it is going to cost that much just to have it " evaluated " ! Seems like they would be more sensitive about situations like these. I will see if Ican find anything out form my homecare company for you. I have a guy I usually talk to. Maybe he can give me some inside imformation! :-) Let you know, Jodi R. > Our daughter has a Zevex Enteralite that up until this very moment we have > LOVED! Guest guest
Jodi, We have Medicaid and they purchased it for us. Our DME is Apria and they do not service the Zevex. They discouraged us from even buying it!! I would LOVE any help your guy can give!! THANKS A BUNCH!!! Guest guest
Dayna, sorry to be so behind. We have a spare pump at home. I am at work today until 5 pm NY time. Call me. I will overnight to you until you gets yours squared away. Also, my cell is if you can't reach me at work. Judith
