Guest guest
Toby, The best and most effective way to determine metal toxicity is to do a hair analysis from a reputable lab like Doctor's Data. Its easy and not very expensive (usually under $100.00) and it give a good indication of toxicity. My son was very high in arsenic, aluminum, cadmium and antimony. Many of these autistic kids do not detox the metals out of their body that they get in the water, soil, food, etc. If the mercury shows up in the hair, that means that they had recent exposure. So, if its not in the hair, it can still be in the body, expecially the brain. We just started chelating our 3 year old son after I have researched it for many many months. Its definitely something you want to have a good knowledge base on before you do it. If you use the right protocol, its safe. You need to know even more than most doctor's do. Hope this helps.
