Parathyroid gland is next to the thyroid gland and secretes

parathyroid hormone. A different hormone altogether. PTH regulates

calcium concentration in blood.

Yes it does and according to my lab results today my PTH levels are high so I

am upping my calcium (calcium/magnesium blend) and upping my vitamin D....Stay

on top of your vitamins kids its very important!
