Well don't feel alone sweetie.. I got out of the shower the other day and rubbed my eyeball with the towel.. yes, doodus, jr here.. lol

poor eyeball

I poked myself in the eye putting in eyedrops on Saturday & apparently scratched my cornea. Doofus. I do it all the time (poke myself in the eye), but it usually is just sore for a few hours. This time it's worse; had to sleep with a folded bandana tied tightly around my head to keep my eyes from blinking. It was a little better tonight & then I poked the same eye! Arrrrrrggggghhhhhh. I can poke my eye even when I use a mirror; between my shaky hand & my body swaying just a bit, it's tricky. It's not a problem with the OTC drops because the tips are smooth. But the Restasis comes in little plastic ampules that have twist-off ends, sometimes leaving then a little rough. I see my PCP tomorrow, so I'll see if he can give me some eye ointment. Meanwhile, I can't watch much TV, read or use the computer. So I'm about to sign off for tonight, tie up my head & put on some music to sleep by! Talk to y'all tomorrow.

Rose, I am sorry to hear of your eye issues. I hope the PCP can help you out. Is the Restasis available in different packaging that wont be so tough on your eyes?? Take care of yourself.MattSubject: poor eyeballTo: neurosarcoidosis Date: Monday, April 11, 2011, 11:52 PM

Thanks, Matt. My eye is better today. And Marla, that's a good idea about the

eye cup. I hadn't even thought of that. This is why 600 brains are better than

one!
