Guest guest
It was a very simple test, one you can do yourself. He just tickled his foot with his finger, and watched for how he responded. If the child pulls the foot sideways, ATTT may be needed, but if he pulls the foot straight back, that is good. Try it. Certainly nothing that can be written in stone, but just an indication.... needing prayers wrote: , my son had a doctor visit yesterday. I am curious what kind of test your doctor did to see if ATTT surgery would be needed later on. Do you know what the test was called or what exactly he did to determine that? We, too, got a good report but the doctor never mentioned anything about a test so I was just curious. Kearns wrote: Well good news, My doctor is very satisfied with 's feet. He does not think his limited plantar flexion will be a problem, but said he probably wouldn't be a ballet dancer! As for the worries of him relapsing, he said that he shows no signs at all of even having had clubfeet. If he didn't know that he had clubfeet, he would not know by examining his feet! He even did a small test to see if he might need the ATTT in the future, which he mentioned a while back may be needed, but responded so well, that he thinks it may not be necessary at all! I left feeling thrilled! So we don't see him again for another 6 months. and 6/24/04 bcf s 14/7 --------------------------------- New Yahoo! Messenger with Voice.
