Lenny: I'm not sure if you are asking about my experience (I had lap DS with

Gagner on January 25 and am 10 months post-op and was one of those who

responded to this thread), but the surgery WAS approved under insurance and

my three week follow up was covered. I was charged for my three month follow

up visit (and I was never informed that Dr. G stopped taking the insurance).

So, my surgery and first follow up post-op happened before the insurance

changes.

My three month (which I was billed for) happened after the insurance changes.

I went to Dr. Herron for my six month because Dr. G was out of town and he

suggested I see someone right away because I was having some upper back

aches... I am not sure if I will see Dr. G for my twelve month (I am still

considering this) OR seeing Dr. Quinn (she assisted on my surgery and I

really like her).

all the best,

lap ds with gallbladder removal
