I'm so sorry to hear of the news of your brother's passing. Our

hearts and prayers go out to you.

Our best to you and your family - and for Mia's new adventure with

Easter Seals. They are a fabulous organization - I found them

extremely helpful as you do - they are truly a blessing to all

children.

Take Care. - H

Once again I am sorry for the loss of your brother.

Great news for Mia. That is wonderful that they are extending her

services. And, how cool is that that they are using her as their

ambassador! I would love to see what the posters and buttons look

like when they are done! Too cool! Congratulations.

Well thats sounds like it will be fun for Mia. Good luck!

good news for Mia

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a long time. I was at the

convention in July. I kind of kept to myself alot because I found

out my brother died the day the convention started. I think I posted

about it a while ago. He was only 39 and died suddenly (they think

an anuerysm or siezure). He was alone at the time. My parents are

having such a hard time and I am going back and forth from here in

Tampa to CA where they live. We are getting by day by day.

Mia receives services through Easter Seals and she will be 3 on Nov.

6th. Her services stop and she was found to be " too good " for the

Child Find program. Easter Seals decided they did not want all of

her services stopped suddenly and gave her a scholarship to continue

with the program until she starts in school. We were so happy.

Also, they chose Mia to be the ammbassador Easter Seals for the

upcoming year! Someone is coming over Mon. to talk to us about it.

She will be on the buttons, posters, etc and we will have to attend

events supporting Easter Seals.

She is doing well and we will probably be starting GH in Nov.

Take Care everyone,

nne (Mia's mom 22lbs, SGA)
