Guest guest
These kids are too smart for you! LOL I have never heard of a kid more stubborn! Mind you, as you said, you have moved from " nuffin " but walking away doesn't work either! Give it some more time, it may work out yet. And I didn't respond to the repeating part because I just don't know what to think about that one. I repeat EVERYTHING I say, part of the job! In fact today I was saying to my grade 4's " when you finish circling the numbers I want you to take another colour..... " and a boy interrupted me to say " Mrs. B. I'm done what do I do now? " CUT ME RIGHT OFF!!!! That's when I decided to take a sip of my coffee!! Anything to delay my YELL " YOU NEED TO LISTEN!! " Even better, I say it 3 times, in 3 different ways and they still say 'what do I do now? " And for Adam I know nothing goes in if it's said once, so I will repeat it 3 different ways (using different words) so all I do is hear myself repeating myself non stop so I figure it's normal for the kids to say something 6 times. I don't think it's OCD or anything to be concerned though, in all honesty. I think it's just another way to get your goat or it's just something to do. I wouldn't be concerned (and I know you aren't). So now I will repeat my email to you again............ LOL We do have a good time don't we? Where do you live again? Maybe you all should move to Canada! So I can have a good laugh with you all. Or even better, once ne makes a guest appearance at Niagara Falls from Australia again, we should all meet there (just the moms and some good bottles of wine!!).
