Guest guest
yesterday Dr. Chen increased Maddy's TPN to 20 hours since her sugars were a mess. Today around 3am she was crying of belly pain and retching. By 4:30am she was vomiting. her sugar was still good at 151. I phoned the on call GI and he contcted Dr. CHen who suggested to check her sugar every hour. If she vomits again or her sugar changes take her to the ER. No fever just pale as a ghost and shivering I did bundle her in warm pajamas and a blanket. I will continue to watch her and let you know if anything changes Chrissy
