It kills the bugs, eggs, etc. (Millet is the flour I bought that had the biggest bug problem, and I didn't buy it at an import store. But I bought it in a huge bag and didn't put it in the freezer.) You wouldn't believe how much food I threw away. UG. I still buy > it but I put the bags in ziploc bags and make sure nothing hatches.
