's little lights in her Stride Rite tennis shoes have stopped

working, so I am trying to replace them. When she first got out of

the casts we measured her as a half a size difference in her feet so

we bought one size. However, when we went shopping yesterday I had

them measure her and she is now 1.5 size difference. I even had them

remeasure her to make sure it was right. I thought I remembered

someone saying Nordstrom's will sell you two shoes, different sizes,

for one price. Is that true and any other suggestions?

Unfortunately Stride Rite in Iowa won't exchange them without us

sending in her current shoes and I won't give them up as I want to

save them because they are her first pair of lighted shoes ever and

she is most comfortable in them because of the lift inside. Plus they

don't carry that shoe style anymore of course. I'm so frustrated with

shoe shopping in our town because there is not a children's shoe

store around. We are a big enough city that we should have that. We

went all over yesterday, plus she is also a size wide. I have one

more place to try later today. I think anytime we go back to Iowa I

will plan on shoe shopping for this reason. I just want to be able

to find her a cute pair of light up shoes that fit well in her size.

She wants Dora shoes so bad, but so far the only ones we've found are

not available in the wide size. Take care!
