Guest guest
Oh, Chrissy, I am so very sorry. Poor you. Poor Maddy. You two just can't get a break. I'm glad that your mom can go and stay with Maddy so you can go home for a night. I'm sorry I am starting school tomorrow or I would go in, too, and do whatever I could to help. I wish I had magic words to make this all better. I just don't. Please know that so many of us are praying for Maddy - and YOU! Love, Jodi Z I tried to call your room, but you were not there. I guess you are with Maddy while she is waking up from the anesthesia. I hope that goes okay, too. I know you've had issues with that as well. It is so hard staying in hospital for long periods and not being with your family. Give a big hug to Maddy love (mum to Cajun in NZ) Madison more bad news Tomorrow we were scheduled to go home however that won't be happening. Last night Maddy's arm swelled two times it's normal size and was hard as a rock. Her temperture conitinues to rise and she now has an obvious infection. So she is currently in ICU getting a central line placed in her groin and having the picc line removed. They are going to give her 5 days of antiboitics before they can place a port in her chest. once she wakes up and is stable they will move her back to her room untill the port can be placed. So I am going home tomorrow so i can get my son ready for school on wednesday and my mom is going to come and stay here. I will be back before the port is done. so I will keep u posted.
