I will look for my journals that I kept and give some sample menus of how I did that --- I think a lot of recent post-ops may be really interested in that. As I mentioned, most of the protein came from dairy products and protein supplements (shakes/bars), but I DID get it in! It wasn't that difficult, either! Then again, I was able to eat 4 oz at a time and didn't experience nausea/aversion to foods, so I know that definately helped me to get everything in. You are doing GREAT!!! I hope that my daily logs can help you in making more high-protein choices and I hope those kinds of foods 'sit well' with you as an immediate post-op! I'll send some to the list asap! Guest guest
, I would like a copy of that journal/list also. With all the nausea I had the first 6 - 7 weeks, I have not gotten enough protein in, and I am so sick of what I have been able to eat so far. Thanks Sheri 9/28/01 lap/open DS Dr Herron/Mt Sinai/NYC
Guest guest
You are THE BEST--and I mean that! So far, have been doing dairy, beans, and other scary new foods with no problems--knock on wood. You're lucky that I'm already married, , or I'd go hunt you down! Eternally yours in devotion and luv, > > In a message dated 11/24/01 4:19:53 PM, duodenalswitch@y... writes: > > << Thanks, ! As usual, you've been very helpful.
