Guest guest
Sherri... Go to the Disney website...there is a link to Disneyland. It may take time but there are links to the rides on which ones have height restrictions. The same for the new park next to it. I know that with Autotopia I am 4ft 1 inches tall and have to have my son who is 4ft 5 go with me....lol Have a fun trip Laurie --- sherrid2003 wrote: > We're taking a trip to Los Angeles at the end of the > month and are > going to Disneyland. Guest guest
Sherri- The height restricts on Disney attractions are very strict, because they're based on how safe the ride is for certain heights. With that, if it looks like she's " borderline " for height, they'll measure her ( " You must be at least this tall to ride this ride " sort of measurement) and if she doesn't make it, there's always next time. Otherwise, it won't be Abby's height that will make much difference, as much as her level of maturity, " scared " factor, etc. Some 7y/o are fine with roller coasters, the Haunted Mansion, etc...some are not. There is a terrific book called " The Official Guide to Disneyland With Kids " and besides giving you the height requirements for everything, they also have descriptions for every attraction, what has loud noises, which are the dark rides, etc. You can get it on Amazon.com and, depending on where in the country you live (i.e. closer to DL in CA as opposed to WDW in FL), Borders, Waldenbooks, etc. If you want to get it from a bookstore and they don't normally carry it, they should be able to order it for you. -Sharon- Just an RSS kid who grew up > We're taking a trip to Los Angeles at the end of the month and are > going to Disneyland. Guest guest
Thanks, Laurie, I will check out Disney's website. That's too funny. I can just imagine how thrilled your son is with that reversal of roles! Sherri > > > We're taking a trip to Los Angeles at the end of the > > month and are > > going to Disneyland. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Sharon, that sounds like a good book and I may check it out. We have a couple of weeks left before we go, plenty of time for delivery. I, myself, don't particulary don't like loud noises (no fear, just preference) so it would be a good resource for the rest of us, too.
