Guest guest
Yesterday I did something I've never been able to do my entire adult life (counting the teenage years, too!) I was able to buy clothes in a normal store. Not Lane , Stuart, The Avenue, Added Demensions, 's....... I heard that Dillard's had a 50% off sale on most of their dresses. Had absolutely nothing left to wear for church, etc. It was so amazing to walk into a store and immediately find clothing to wear! I'm down to a size 16, down from a 26/28. One dress was even a 14. (Don't worry, I didn't buy too much, just three outfits, I know I'll be out of them soon!) I haven't been this size since about age 13. When I realized I COULD wear a 16 AND looked damn good in it I just about cried. I'd gone in wearing my now routinely baggy clothes. When the sales lady saw me in the first outfit she said " You've got a really nice waistline! " (with great surprise - for both of us!) Almost every day now multiple people stop and tell me I look great. I crack up every time someone asks if I've had to change my eating habits too drastically. I tell them, yes, now I eat more high fat foods than I have ever before. True, the portions are still relatively small, but as far as fat content goes there's no comparison. Just gets better every day - P post-op 05-30-01 Dr. Kim, Ocean Spgs, MS pre-op wt 330 current wt
