Guest guest
That's something I really haven't seen anyone address. How many pairs of shoes have you had to go through? My little Colin has had his s since he was two months, and now is just over 4 months. How many more / when should we expect to need a new set? Thanks! Guest guest
My son is in Markells and is 19 months, we're currently on our 3rd pair. Of course it depends on how quickly your child's feet grow. With the Markells you can let them stay in the same size until their toes are actually able to curl over the end of the shoe. I think it is similar in the s but someone who has more experience with them will jump in with a better answer about them. > > That's something I really haven't seen anyone address. Guest guest
Depends a lot on the child's growth rate. Everett is 2 1/2 years old and only wearing his 3rd pair, with lots of room left in them to grow. He began at about 2 months old. Garrison on the other hand is growing so fast that later on Everett might likely wear Garrision's hand me downs instead of the other way around! s. How long before new shoes??? Guest guest
WE have had 2 sets of s, and are now getting ready to order another pair by the end of the month I think. So the first time was after 2 1/2 months, the second will be after 4 1/2 months. I think as they get older the time will probably get a tad farther apart with about 6 months in between? Guest guest
My son is 7+ months old and has been wearing his mitchells since the middle of January (3.5 mos) and is still well within the limits of the shoes. When we saw Dr P in March, he told me 's toes could be hanging over the edge of the shoe before we needed to order another pair. I think I remember saying something like most kids only use 2-3 pairs (if that) in their first year when in the s... and that's when they start them really young. We didn't start our brace until 3.5 months old. Hope that helps! Stacee and , 9/24/05 rcf PMs 18 hrs/day > > That's something I really haven't seen anyone address.
