been busy, but merrily amused at the posts

Hi all. I've been quite busy here, but just sat down and read (okay, well

skimmed through) 355 posts at one time I was merrily amused at the

discussions.

If you have kids who need a good place to entertain themselves on the web,

they might like to check out my Christmas webpage at

websites. And... I do personally reply to all Santa letters. Laf... and

lately, when kids write ornery letters, I tell them they're going to get

coal in their stockings and sticks in their presents! Anyway, there are

lots of trees to decorate and snowmen to build.

My endeavour to have my insurance pay for the DS is in the hands of the

California Dept of Managed Health Care. It doesn't look good. The attorney

reviewing my case says almost all of the DS cases are being turned down.

However, I am borrowing the money from my mother who is taking out a loan on

her house so I can have this surgery. I have a surgery date of February 6.

(Laf, just long enough that I have a tiny bit of hope that the appeal to

DMHC will be approved!)

Congrats to everyone who is losing LOTS of weight. Sorry I haven't

complimented all of you... but to be honest, you make me a little sick

Okay, okay, the green-eyed monster has gotten ahold of me! No, seriously,

congratulations. I have been noticing, and I have clicked on many of your

pictures, but sometimes I feel so discouraged that I just haven't been able

to make myself tell you how good and proud I am of each of you!

Elle, my 4 and 6 year old daughters both ADORE your Christmas website. I

like it too. :-) Thanks for reminding me that it's there!!! I'm going to

bookmark it right now!
