Tammy,

Is she spilling ketones? Do you know the routine if she is? If she

cannot keep food down, she will most likely need to be hospitalized

with D10 IV fluids. There is a specific protocol to follow. Let me

know if you need it in writing.

I'm glad she is tolerating the Pedialyte. Since she is, you should be

okay. You may want to get some form of glucose or sugar into her when

you can. Pedialyte alone will not help blood sugar levels. You can

even buy glucose gel that you can squeeze between her cheek and gums.

It is immediately absorbed by the body.

hey tammy!!

hope natalie is feeling better today!! poor thing!! it is amazing how

much weight they can drop being sick for one day!! hopefully she is

better today!!
