60's who are having the DS... many of them with similar co-morbidities and/or

past surgery history. I think she's scared more than anything else that,

at her age, she wouldn't be able to weather the surgery and/or recovery...

But, I think she knows SOMETHING must be done about this situation and Lord

-- diets have NOT WORKED!!!! I told her I could put her in touch with

plenty in her age group who are braving the DS --- in a heartbeat. She

told me last (when a doctor recommended surgery - but the guy in Alaska only

does the RNY - NOT) that she wasn't ready yet, so I'm just waiting... hoping

and praying... :)

Yeah, you'll be able to dip those Milano cookies (my favorite still LOL) in

milk! Just wait a few months. Soy milk is nice, too -- You may have

to try and experiment until you find a brand you like, but I think they have

chocolate flavor. I used to LOVE this Soy Mocha (and they had Soy Chai,

too).... Each glassful was 7 gms! I think I'll get some next time at the

store - I had forgotten how much I loved those!
